Shot new headshots for the executive leaders at Downtown Women’s Center working to end homelessness for women through providing #housingfirst, job training, advocacy, health and wellness, and many other programs. Founded in 1978, the Downtown Women’s Center works to address the needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in Los Angeles’ Skid Row community.
I had such a wonderful time photographing Nishat Kurwa, a digital journalist and creator of Talk Story, in my old neighborhood in the Arts district of Los Angeles. Talk Story is a weekly newsletter featuring interviews with “women of color entrepreneurs, artists, and leaders.”
I really enjoyed photographing yoga teacher, Kishor Stein at the Hare Krishna temple in Los Angeles, where he grew up. Thanks to Noelle Reyes for your wardrobe styling and creative direction!
